The Greater Rochester Area Payroll Association, Inc., GRAPA, a chapter of PayrollOrg (PAYO) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization centered on providing education to payroll and human resources professional.
Our responsibilities as payroll professionals are to accurately pay, record and report the wages of our workforce to state, local, and federal government agencies on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
To accomplish this goal, we offer the following activities:
Monthly meetings with guest speakers to address payroll, accounting, and human resources issues. Opportunity to network before and after the meeting. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month and receive RCH credit from APA. (No meetings are held in Jan, July, Aug. or Dec.)
Payroll Certification Review Options for anyone whose goal is to achieve APA certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
Seminars partnered with our vendors to update us on changing laws, technology and services to enhance our job skills and value to our employers.
